French Bakery and Courtyard Cafe

Proprietors Karl and Nancy Seitz and the staff at The French Bakery and Courtyard Cafe welcome you to the island and invite you to come visit us.

Upon entering our little corner of paradise, you will find a charming casual café, top notch friendly staff and a first class bakery and cafe with many products you will not find anywhere else on island.

Authentic French Bakery: We take great pride in the production of some of the finest bakery products in the region by using traditional French recipes, baking methods and imported French ingredients. Throughout the Hilton Head and Bluffton area, The French Bakery is known for crusty French Baguettes, unique Artisan Breads, French breakfast treats and gourmet Dessert Pastries (often called "edible art" !) Not only are they a culinary delight, they are a feast for the eyes!

Delightful Relaxing Cafe: Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Tea/ Coffee can be enjoyed inside in the charming cafe or outside in the courtyard where you can enjoy Pineland's beautiful gardens and look beyond to the waterwheel in the pond out back. For breakfast or a mid-day break, enjoy a Cappuccino or Latte with a fresh baked pastry. For lunch, enjoy hot and cold sandwiches made on fresh baked breads and crusty baguettes as well as soups, salads and quiche. Just relaxing in the courtyard with a cappuccino is enough to evoke those fond memories of past European visits! (Even if you can't stay for awhile, call us to prepare your Take-out order.)
