The Marriott Hilton Head Beach and Golf Resort is a full-service, 512-room oceanfront hotel located in Palmetto Dunes Plantation. This AAA four-diamond property was voted one of the Top 500 Hotels In The World by Travel + Leisure magazine.

The guest rooms feature private balconies, individual climate control systems, coffee maker, two-line telephones with data port, high-speed internet access, in-room movies, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. Suite types include Corner King, Island King, Executive, Vice Presidential, and Presidential suites.

Resort Activities

Within the gates of the Palmetto Dunes Resort are a wealth of activities for visitors of all ages. These activities include:

• Championship golf at the Arthur Hills, Robert Trent Jones, and George Fazio courses.
• Bike riding through the miles of paths and trails. Bike rental is available.
• 25 courts at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center. Eight courts are available for night play.
• Three miles of inland lagoons for fishing and canoeing. Rentals are available.
• Shopping and additional dining facilities are located across Highway 278 in Shelter Cove Harbor.

Children's Activities

If you need to break away for a round of golf, a few sets of tennis, or other activities where it may not be convenient to bring the entire family, the Marriott Hilton Head Beach and Golf Resort offers seasonal children's activities.

The Lil' Adventures club is for children 3-5 years of age (out of diapers) and is offered from 9 am to 12 noon on Wednesday through Saturday. Activities include building sand castles, playing beach games, and swimming in the children's pool.

The Adventure Club is for children 6-12 years old and offers a.m., p.m., or full-day sessions. The morning session is on-property and activities include playing on the beach and in the pools, arts and crafts, and games. The afternoon session is held off site, and each day has a different theme include dolphin watching and other exciting activities.
